About the Author John Laurie is a personal trainer and cofounder of the HRTA (Human Resistance Trainers Association), teaching this new technique to personal trainers. He lives in New Orleans, LA.
Bum Lee is a former Navy strength coach and cofounder of the HRTA. He holds a BA degree in Exercise Physiology and is NSCA CPT certified. He recently broke the Arkansas State AAU power lifting record for his weight class (165 lbs) at 1,290 lbs.
